1. What is a pay day loan?

A payday loan is a loan of money of not more than 1,000,000 Tanzanian shillings. You must pay back your loan and interest in your next pay check.

2. What are Jibusti Finance’s interest rates for pay day loans?

Jibusti Finance charges 10% interest fee and a 1,500 Tanzania shillings processing fee

E.g. If you take 100,000 Tanzanian shillings, you will return 111,500 Tanzanian shillings from your next pay check.

3. Can I take out another loan right after paying off my pay day loan?

Jibusti Finance will lend you another payday loan within 3 days of repaying a previous payday loan.

4. How do I sign up to have a Jibusti Mobile Application login so I can start requesting a loan?

5. How much can I borrow on a pay day loan?

Jibusti Finance allows employees to borrow up to 40% of their Gross (before deductions) salary, up to 1,000,000 Tanzanian Shillings.

6. How do I sign up my company to provide our employees with the service?

7. How long does it take to approve my loan and receive the funds?

Once you have requested a loan through the Jibusti Application and your HR approves, we guarantee your loan amount to be deposited within 1 business day.

8. Apart from Payday loans, what other loans do Jibusti offer?

Jibusti offers the following loans:

  1. School fee loan:

With Jibusti back to School, Parents can get Up to 3,000,000 Tanzanian shillings towards their school schools. The interest in the loan is 20% with a processing fee of 4%. For more information on this loan, please email, [email protected].
