About the Mama Jibusti Product

Micro Lending by Mama Jibusti aims to provide micro business loans to underserved women and low-income women in rural and urban areas in Tanzania. We cater to those who ordinarily cannot be captured by the formal credit system. We offer them fast and simple loans that enable them to build, grow and sustain their businesses. Our vast network of low-income women enables us to reach them very effectively and cost-effectively and also enables us to tailor solutions to suit their needs. MamaJibusti, in partnership with donor organisations, coporate firms, INGOs and other partners, has been supporting low-income and underserved women since 2020. We provide women with digital skills, financial literacy, skill-based and business training.

In this training, women and girls learn essential digital skills which include:

  2. How to find and use information on the internet.
  3. How to to be safe and responsible online.
  4. How to communicate socially and professionally using email, messaging and social media.
Financial Literacy Training

In this training, women and girls learn essential financial literacy skills which include:

In this training, woman and girls learn soft skills that will allow them to excel in their businesses. These skills include:
